So, I have been thinking I should blog for a while now but was unsure if I would really have much to say! After to much debate and I have decided its time to start. I think it will not only help with some stress relief but I will be able to post some stuff about the kiddos and be able to share with everyone! So why start tonight you ask? Because I need stress relief!

Tanner being such an independent little guy has been doing great for about 6months now washing his hands on his own. Either for dinner or after the bathroom, I have been pretty confident is walking away and trusting him to do this simple task. Tonight I did just that, he got off the potty and proceeded to the sink to wash his hands, in my bathroom, so I walked out. After about 10mins I was back in my room vacuuming and thought to myself, "WOW, I did a good job cleaning my bathroom floor its really shinny...wait, I didn't clean my bathroom floor tonight..." So I quickly realize that Tanner left the water running!!!!!! And the stopper in Dads sink was broken and stuck in the down position which caused the sink to overflow!!! I used about 6 towels and both large bathroom rugs were soaked with water!

On top of that I had to go into the garage, to get a screw driver to pull the stopper up to drain the water that was still in the sink, and I found that the water had soaked into the floor and was leaking into the garage! Yes, that's right, now the sheet rock in the garage will have to be replaced! I surprisingly was fairly clam during all of this, I did cry and let out a few whimpers but all in all I didn't get mad at him, or yell at him -- no spanks happened either! It was an accident and just as much my fault as it was his. I will forever now check when my children go to the bathroom, or take a bath for that matter, to make sure the water got turned off!
